Capstone Hours, April 22-26
This week was the same routine, but my client had the heart and determination to go an extra hour every day to reach his goal to lose 10 pounds in two weeks. On the 26, we weighed him an hour after his last workout and he weighed in at 197 pounds. His original weight was 210 pounds. My client had lost 13 pounds! He was happy with the results and so was my mentor. This week we ended with 15 hours.
Capstone Hours, April 15-19
For this week of my hours, my mentor had a client for me that needed to be trained. The process I had for my client was the same workout schedule my mentor had for his client the week before. My client had a goal to lose weight in the only two weeks we had together. It would be a hard goal but it would be possible. This week we finished a total of 10 hours. Next week will be the same routine but more hours.
Capstone Hours, April 12
For the last day of the week of workouts, my mentor had his client finish up with some low rep high set leg workouts and also some tricep workouts for 3 hours. Next session my mentor will have a client for me to train.
Capstone Hours, April 11
My mentor had the client do the same routine as April 9 for 3 hours. Nothing new was learned but more shadowing of my mentor was needed. Next and final session for my mentors client will be more leg workouts and tricep workouts.
Capstone Hours, April 10
Today my mentor worked his client to some more leg exercises and biceps workouts for 3 hours. Through the workout he showed me the basics of bicep exercises. Next session will be another cardiovascular and plyometric day.
Capstone Hours, April 9
Today was the second day of training with my mentor and his client. Throughout the training, I was mainly shadowing my mentor than physically being involved. My mentor had the client do cardio and plyometrics for 3 hours. Examples are stair step-ups, box jumps, sprints, and running hills. Next session will be more leg workouts and bicep workouts.
Capstone Hours, April 8
My mentor had brought a client with him today and we started to go over the process of actually training a client. We started off with simple leg stretches and exercises in the lower body for 3 hours. Next session my mentor will be showing me the cardiovascular and plyometric exercises.
